This position resides within Thomson Reuters’ Global growth Organization within Latin America, governing pricing related policies, responsible for pricing integrity and providing pricing development, application support and analysis for GGO-LatAm business. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY · Develop governance and standards surrounding pricing policies.· Implement best practices in cross SBU selling: extending materials, transfer pricing, currency exchange· Work with the businesses on developing pricing and bundling models, providing expertise on material setup, revenue recognition and tax strategies· Responsible for pricing integrity, ensuring pricing is in alignment with commercial policies, approved by the proper authorized channels, updated and synchronized in all systems: SAP, SFDC, Off line Price Calculators· Manage annual pricing review cycles across multiple SBUs, including annual list price updates, renewal pricing updates, promotional campaigns and product sun setting· Partner and closely work with renewals function to ensure price increase models are properly applied· Ownership of creation and maintenance of price calculators, databases and tools· Establish reporting and metrics to track pricing performance· Provide value added pricing analysis of current customer base, outlining revenue opportunities· Partnering with the business in collaborative studies and leveraging resources across SBUs for pricing knowledge transfer: pricing models, customers segmentation, markets and industry analysis· Manages Pricing Analyst
Qualifications
· 5+years of progressive experience in a large, global, matrixed, for-profit organization (with minimum 3 in finance or strategic pricing)· Able to thrive working independently in a highly matrixed environment with globally distributed Product, Marketing, Finance and Sales teams· Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams and demonstrated success managing in a matrixed environment· Experience leveraging market analysis, segmentation and strategic pricing to support commercial product success· Demonstrated success developing & maintaining business models for new and existing information and/or software products· Experience deploying pricing and business models globally· Strong presentation / communication skills, ability to champion changes to pricing and business models· Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines· Strong match and analytical skills· Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint) required, experience with SAP and SalesForce.com desirable· Bachelor’s degree and Finance background required The role will require 20-25% travel.
