Thomson Reuters (Tax & Accounting), Inc. SAP Lead ABAP Developer 5665 SW Meadows Rd, Suite 400, Lake Oswego, OR 97035 Under close supervision of SAP Business System Manager, responsible for building & supporting market leading technology & integrated information solutions for indirect tax business.1. Provide technical support to customers on existing code & configurations;2. Debug code to determine root cause of issues;3. Provide configuration assistance where applicable;4. Assist in identifying & implementing short- & long-term solution options, including risk assessments;5. Provide 3rd level customer support;6. Create & execute unit & integration testing ensuring software meets requirements;7. Participate in remediation solutions;8. Assist with improvements to prevent problems, including problem resolution workflow;9. Provide status updates for areas of individual responsibilities within projects;10. Develop software adhering to team/company standards & software best practice guidelines;11. Participate in team & status meetings.
Qualifications
Bachelors (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Engineering or related field plus 5 years’ experience with SAP programming & systems integration. Experience may be gained concurrently and must include the following: 5 years’ experience with SAP design tools such as ABAP Workbench & Data Dictionary; 5 years’ experience with all aspects of SDLC (analysis, design, programming, testing, support); 5 years’ experience with enhancement concepts such as User-Exits, BAdI's, & Data Dictionary enhancements; 5 years’ experience with SD, MM &/or FI modules; 5 years’ experience using analytical/problem solving/debugging skills; 5 years’ experience collaborating with other developers in a team environment.
