We are currently seeking a self motivated Functional Implementation Consultant with ERP (SAP preferred) implementation and Project Management experience. Candidate will work closely with technical project teams and partner teams to implement enterprise tax automation software with customer's ERP systems, Billing or E-Commerce.
Responsibilities
· Perform process requirements (OTC, PTP) and analysis workshops with clients to define business, process, functional requirements and data element requirements. Troubleshoot software and implementation issues, provide workaround and functional implementation guidance. · Project management, team lead in implementation and integration of Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Software Manage project schedules, budget allocations, define statements of work, manage change control and change requests Gather business, process and integration requirements between ONESOURCE Determination and SAP (SD, FI, MM, BR Localization)Support customers in preparing and documenting tax use cases and testing scenarios Identifies and proactively drives high quality project deliverables, dependencies, and critical path items – proactively manages changes in project scopeControls project deliverables, scope & expectations, and coordinates project progress with sponsors, steering committees, and senior leadershipDevelops and tracks to detailed project plans including schedules, technical and business requirements, cost estimates, resource plans, communication plans, risk mitigation plans, and issue resolution plans

- REQUIRED: Candidate is required to speak Portuguese and English - REQUIRED: Candidate is required to have Bachelor Degree, BS/BA degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting & Finance or equivalent - 2+ years Functional Experience or 2 Full lifecycle implementations of major ERP systems i.e. SAP- Functional experience in defining business, data and process requirements OTC and PTP - Project management, Team lead and implementation consulting experience- Independently coaches, mentors, and motivates project teams to influence a positive, accountable, and collaborative approach- Effectively communicates project expectations to all team members and stakeholders including business representatives, partners, customers, and consultantsAdditional Preferred Experience
- Certified Project Manager (PMP)- Tax Automation experience implementing 3rd party Tax Engines (Vertex, Taxware, ONESOURCE, Sabrix)- Experience and knowledge of VAT & Brazil Tax requirements- “Big 4” or Thomson Reuters Certified Partner experience- Location = Sao Paulo, Brazil- Travel – 25 - 40% travel based on customer projects and assignments
