The Program Specialist is critical to the success of Thomson Reuters’ Card programs. This individual is responsible for managing all aspects of the Card program. The Program Specialist will evaluate program compliance, policies and procedures, program enhancements, and overall program effectiveness. Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Process Card member applications, changes and cancellations for Corporate Card & Purchasing Card
- Respond promptly to card member questions, requests & concerns including monthly Corporate Card compliance emails, via direct contact or ticketing system
- Oversee all delinquent accounts, contact Employee, Manager and HRBP and escalate as required to manage credit losses for the region
- Support Program upgrades and rollouts for the region
- Coordinate distribution of Card member reports and communications
- Monitor card member activity and issue alerts as needed
- Facilitate policy changes and maintain process documentation
- Support Purchasing Card and Meeting Card Program and educate employees on “Controlled Purchasing”
- Provide support as needed to ensure timely payment of Corporate Liability accounts.
- Maintain strong relationships with Human Resources, Customers, Payments team and MyExpenses Tool Managers

Qualifications

Education:
- Associate or Vocational degree. High School diploma with relevant business experience will be considered

Required Skills:
- Client facing experience –
- Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills (especially presentation and facilitation skills).
- Procurement/Accounts Payable process knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Strong analytical skills and aptitude for problem solving
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast pace changing environment
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and recognize the critical impact to the business
- Highly motivated, task oriented and able to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Ability to support a global network through flexing time
- Ability to operate effectively across borders and different cultures

Desired Skills:
- Customer focused in all aspects of your work.
- SAP Experience and MyExpenses but not necessary
- Ability to work independently while at the same time not moving away from a team role
