As a member of the SCA team, this position will play an integral role in supporting the department’s data analysis system control and database needs. This position requires development of solid systems knowledge regarding Varicent, SCW, ICP and DW and can apply knowledge of the end-to-end system. This Business Analyst will be expected to demonstrate strong technical and problem solving skills. This role must be able to successfully operate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, handle multiple competing project priorities, and support the monthly financial and settlement close. This role will continually seek system efficiencies and make recommendations for compensation plan standardization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for system support such as data validation, systems controls, enhancements, table maintenance or audit queries.
- Develops solid systems knowledge regarding Varicent, SCW, ICP and DW.
- Proactively addresses upstream data management issues to ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial close and settlement.
- Coordinates workflow needs or system aspects of compensation plan changes, data or transaction processing to ensure the system is ready to process transactions accurately.
- Performs system testing and change control, proactively communicates issues and carries through to resolution.
- Develops documentation and training and proactively updates when necessary.
- Facilitates meetings business partners to document business requirements
- Supports the Blueprinting/Business Requirements process.

Qualifications
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Computer Science required
- 1+ years of related experience
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong technical and systems skills with proven ability to learn new applications and previous experience using Access, Business Objects, Excel, and Power Point, and SAP
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects with competing demands for resources, ability to adapt to change
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, multi-cultural business environment
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues and problem-solve
